SECRET WEAPONは、JDSimoがZonk/Tonebenderにミッドレンジのあるファズを要求し、それをダウンポジションのワウと組み合わせて古いクラシックトーンを実現する様に求めた時に誕生しました。
また、彼が彼のクランクされたフェンダーアンプにファズを合わせる必要があったので、Zonkmachine MKI回路を彼の好みに合わせて調整し、SECRET WEAPONが誕生しました。SECRET MACHINEと比較すると、WEAPONは、より生々しく中域が豊かで、JDの好み合わせて構築されて音量も大きいです。
ミニトグルスイッチは下側でミッドレンジを約+10〜15％増やす事ができます。
